The Australian Partnership Prevention Centre

Governance Authority

As the group to which the Sax Institute is accountable for the Prevention Centre’s operation, the Governance Authority is responsible for providing advice, approving the annual work plan and budget while also advising on the sustainability of the Centre. Its members are representatives from each of the Funding Partners, including representation from the Sax Institute. The Head, Prevention acts as chairperson.

The Head of Prevention at the Sax Institute has overall responsibility for strategic leadership. This includes accountability for Prevention Centre performance and impact and ensuring the program of work continues to be collaboratively developed and meets the needs of its funding partners and other stakeholders.
