Nadia Mastersson has finished working with the Prevention Centre.
Nadia Mastersson is Manager of the Partnerships and Programs team in the Prevention and Population Health Directorate of WellBeing SA. As a new government agency, WellBeing SA reports directly to the Minister for Health and Wellbeing and aims to create a balanced health and wellbeing system that supports improved physical, mental and social wellbeing.
Using a systems-based approach, Nadia Mastersson is responsible for the co-design, delivery and evaluation of policy, legislative, programmatic and infrastructure health promotion approaches in South Australia, with a focus on nutrition and physical activity risk factors. She has over 20 years of experience in working in prevention and health promotion; from working in state government to local government, community health to Aboriginal health, academia and hospital settings. With a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics and a passion for addressing childhood obesity, Nadia is completing a Masters of Business Administration to further apply a strategic leadership lens to the prevention agenda in government.
