Community of practice: Citizen Science for a greener Adelaide
This project aimed to understand what makes quality green spaces for citizens of metropolitan Adelaide. Trialling the use of a web-based geospatial survey tool the project recruited 44 active citizen scientists from nine participating Adelaide councils to complete audits of the green spaces they visit as part of their daily lives.
The Community of Practice for Citizen Science in Prevention aims to bring together people from research, policy, practice, and community settings who have an interest in citizen science approaches in chronic disease prevention research.
