Dr Tara Boelsen-Robinson
Research Fellow
Dr Tara Boelsen-Robinson is a Research Fellow within the Centre of Research Excellence (CRE) in Food Retail Environments for Health (RE-FRESH) at Deakin University. Prior to completing a PhD evaluating healthy food retail policies in community settings, she was awarded a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Public Health.
Through her research, Dr Boelsen-Robinson aims to measure and produce outcomes that are relevant and useful for multiple stakeholders, including retailers, customers and public health practitioners, reflecting the integration of her marketing and public health training.
Within the CRE, Dr Boelsen-Robinson continues to explore how to support retailers in making shifts to healthier food environments, while expanding on her interests in food marketing, food policy, and food supply chains. She is a keen collaborator and committed to the translation of research into practice and policy.
Dr Boelsen-Robinson is a member of the Collaboration for Enhanced Research Impact (CERI) Coordinating Group.
