Dr Katherine Cullerton

Co-host, Qualitative Research Community of Practice

Dr Katherine Cullerton is a Research Fellow in the School of Public Health based at the University of Queensland and co-hosts the Prevention Centre’s Qualitative Research Community of Practice with Dr Victoria Loblay.

Katherine has extensive experience working in a range of public health sectors and settings in Australia and the UK.

Before joining the University of Queensland, Katherine was at the MRC Epidemiology Unit at the University of Cambridge, UK, where she investigated whether it is ever acceptable for nutrition researchers to engage with the food industry and, if it is, under what conditions. Her current research focuses on why evidence doesn’t translate into policy and understanding how advocates can better influence nutrition policy.
