How can we improve physical activity programs for the most inactive?

In this seminar, Dr Justin Varney shares his experience at Public Health England (PHE) in his presentation, “Physical activity: the golden thread to weave across policy”.

Dr Justin Varney is the National Lead for Adult Health and Wellbeing at PHE and also leads the work to improve the health and wellbeing of working-age adults and reduce health inequalities in this group as well as health and worklessness and workplace health.

Speaking at a seminar sponsored by the Prevention Centre and the Prevention Research Collaboration, Dr Justin Varney of Public Health England outlined the steps taken to achieve England’s highly successful sport and physical activity strategy.
