Dr Michelle Irving

Dr Irving was the Prevention Centre’s Knowledge Mobilisation Lead from 2019 to 2021. Her main areas of research interest include translational research and evaluation, Indigenous health, cultural competence and improving oral health.
She has led and coordinated translational research projects throughout her research career, working with key stakeholders from senior researchers and clinicians from multiple organisations to community groups and individual participants, to achieve critical outcomes in many health fields. She has methodological skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
