Dr Stuart Brentnall
Dr Stuart Brentnall is a Research Officer in the Decision Analytics team at the Sax Institute. He has a background in physical oceanography and co-authored several publications on ecological modelling and palaeoclimatology.
Dr Brentnall is a qualified actuary, specialising in stochastic modelling, a type of modelling commonly used in the finance sector to forecast the probability of various outcomes under different conditions using random variables. Stuart is applying this experience, along with his statistical knowledge to a variety of public health questions on the Centre’s compelling case for prevention modelling project.
