This research seminar presents results from a three-year program of work, co-produced with four health promotion agencies. It aimed to build capacity for and evaluate the feasibility and impacts of stakeholder-led citizen science approaches in prevention.
The speakers discuss the benefits and opportunities that citizen science approaches offer for researchers, policy makers and communities as well as considerations about its feasibility and sustainability when used within policy and practice settings.
Project partners from Wellbeing SA and the University of Tasmania share their insights from involvement with the project and the use of citizen science approaches in their work.
