Dr Tara Clinton-McHarg
Post-doctoral Research Fellow
Dr Tara Clinton-McHarg is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow, National Centre of Implementation Science (NCOIS), School of Medicine and Public Health, University of Newcastle.
Her research is focused on ways to help prevent the development of chronic disease in the community, particularly for people who have a mental health condition. Her research interests include identifying how existing evidence-based models of preventive care can to be tailored and adapted to make them more suitable for implementation in non-clinical settings.
Dr Clinton-McHarg is currently working with community managed organisations to co-design and trial models of preventive care that are suitable for implementation in this setting.
