Professor Wendy Norman is a family physician-researcher and Chair of Family Planning Research in the Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia, in Canada; and an Honorary Associate Professor in the Faculty of Public Health and Policy at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in the UK. She founded and leads Canada’s national Contraception and Abortion Research Team.

Canada’s Contraception & Abortion Research Team (CART) has been effective to inform regional and national government policies improving access to contraception and abortion services. This talk will reflect on an integrated knowledge translation approach engaging key stakeholders to ask and answer policy relevant questions, the process and outcomes in Canada and implications for Australia.
