It will be valuable for those commissioning and interpreting policy and program evaluations, those developing policies or programs, and those evaluating policies or health programs, who may be based in government, the not-for-profit sector, think-tanks, the private sector or academia.
You will gain an awareness of:
- Different evaluation designs and their pros and cons
- Key features of the major analytical approaches for each evaluation design
- The main issues to consider when interpreting the results of evaluations for policy
The course will be led by Professor of Health Economics Methodology Richard Grieve and Associate Professor of Health Economics and Econometrics Stephen O’Neill, both from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
