Commercial determinants of health: Unpacking industry influence
The Charles Perkins Centre’s EPIC supports the translation of rigorous and unbiased evidence into clinical practice and health policy.
This two-day symposium – 6 and 7 November 2023 – brings together leading researchers to explore the range of influences that industries exert on health, and discuss how best to work within this context to advance public health.
Speakers will address the influences of big food, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, gambling, alcohol, and the environment on health. Learn about the cross-cutting influences of, and policy responses to, research, marketing and regulatory policy.
