Prevention Research Collaboration Impact Seminar Series.
This seminar is designed for those interested in understanding more about schools, preservice teachers, teachers and students, and how to enhance health.
Presenters will delve into their research findings reporting on the health of teachers, the health literacy levels of preservice teachers, teachers’ capabilities to enhance students’ health literacy levels, and the impact of school sport on students’ educational outcomes:
- Dr Louisa Peralta is a Senior Lecturer in Health and Physical Education at the School of Education and Social Work at the University of Sydney.
- Ms Lucy Corbett is an Associate Research Fellow and PhD candidate with the Prevention Research Collaboration, within the Sydney School of Public Health.
- Dr Katherine Owen is a Senior Research Fellow and Biostatistician, with a Masters in Biostatistics and a PhD in physical activity.
