Several large health promotion programs, recently funded in Denmark, are working in partnerships to evaluate community-based NCD prevention. Using the principles of community-based participatory research, formative methods and systems-informed approaches, several projects will be presented.
Join us to hear about Generation Healthy Kids (a nested cluster RCT surrounded by community based systems approaches); the VET project (in the system around technical and vocational schools); and a large scale prevention project, Child-COOP in Jutland.
As case studies, they will illustrate comprehensive evaluation frameworks, and the quantum of formative research required to develop appropriate prevention programs, tailored to local contexts, in order to reach whole Danish communities.
