Adherence to a higher quality diet including the Mediterranean Diet has been associated with lower rates of dementia. This presentation will cover the relevance of dietary patterns to brain health and dementia risk in midlife and older age by Dr Helen Macpherson. Associations between commonly used dietary indices and brain volume will be presented from more than 19,000 participants from the population-based UK Biobank cohort.
