This is the third in a series of Sax Forum sessions designed to give Early- and Mid-Career Researchers an understanding of the potential of cohort datasets for health research. The topic of the online workshop will be ‘Using cohort datasets for environmental health research’.

The objectives of the session are to give participants an awareness or understanding of the following:

  • Important questions in environmental health that could be answered using cohort data
  • Potentially available cohort datasets that could be used to answer these and possibly other similar types of questions
  • How to access the datasets
  • Methodological approaches and challenges
  • The availability of expertise in the use of cohort data for environmental health studies, and how to access this expertise.

The workshop is intended for researchers in the Sax Institute’s Member organisations  and NSW Ministry of Health staff.
