How we can create healthier, liveable cities

This #PreventionWorksLIVE masterclass features Distinguished Professor Billie Giles-Corti on how we can create healthier, liveable cities.

As a Chief Investigator with the Prevention Centre since its launch in 2013, Professor Giles-Corti has led projects that have created practical ways for policy makers to measure, benchmark and monitor liveability in their cities. Engagement with policy makers and advocates across sectors – and bringing together a team of researchers with a wealth of knowledge from other sectors – has been a foundation of this work.

About #PreventionWorksLIVE

In 2021, the Prevention Centre delivered a series of five masterclasses with Australia’s leading innovators on creating a healthier Australia. The #PreventionWorksLIVE series examined how change-makers have achieved real impact for the health and wellbeing of communities.
