Professor Rebecca Bentley

Rebecca Bentley is Director of the Healthy Housing NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence, one of the CREs that contributes to the Collaboration for Enhanced Research Impact.

She is a Professorial Research Fellow in Social Epidemiology and the leader of the Healthy Housing Research Group in the Centre for Health Equity, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health.

Over the past ten years, she has developed a research program exploring the role of housing and residential location in shaping health and wellbeing in Australia. This research has a particular focus on housing affordability, tenure and their measurable effects on individual health and wellbeing.
