Associate Professor Philayrath Phongsavan has finished working with the Prevention Centre.
Associate Professor Phongsavan is Associate Professor in Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, at the Sydney School of Public Health, and the Charles Perkins Centre, The University of Sydney. She is a behavioural change scientist and health promotion researcher. Philayrath has made original research contributions to translational research and practice, by bringing to her collaborations expertise in the design and evaluation of complex lifestyle change programs that used a number of delivery platforms to achieve health behaviour changes.
Associate Professor Phongsavan also has a research interest in social epidemiology, particularly the role of social participation and social connection in health inequalities and wellbeing.
