Professor Nathaniel (Nate) Osgood is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health & Epidemiology at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
Nate’s research interests centre around computational epidemiology and public health informatics. He also teaches in the areas of software engineering and computational modelling. Nate has been applying dynamic modelling to improve decision making – with a particular focus on health – for more than 25 years, with contributions in the chronic disease area as well as social and environmental epidemiology and tobacco policy.
In his downtime, Nate is passionate about history, cycling and horticulture.
