Dr Katherine Cullerton

Research Fellow

Dr Katherine Cullerton is a Research Fellow in the School of Public Health based at the University of Queensland. She has extensive experience working in in a range of public health sectors and settings in Australia and in the UK.

Before joining the University of Queensland, Dr Cullerton was at the MRC Epidemiology Unit at the University of Cambridge, UK, where she investigated whether it is ever acceptable for nutrition researchers to engage with the food industry and, if it is, under what conditions. Her current research focusses on why evidence doesn’t translate into policy and understanding how advocates can better influence nutrition policy.
