Kate Kirkman

Kate Kirkman joined the Prevention Centre in July 2022 as Senior Program Support Officer, Operations and Impact. Her role is to support the core operations of the Centre, with a focus on finance, contracts, and systems/processes.

Most recently Kate worked at the NSW Ministry of Health in the Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence (CEE) where she managed the Centre’s budget and key financial processes. She has been involved in the Prevention Research Support Program, a multi-million dollar grants program that runs over a four-year period and is administered by CEE. Kate was also part of the core team instrumental in NSW Health’s COVID response.
