Jennie Smiedt

Jennie Smiedt is the Prevention Centre’s Senior Communications Officer, responsible for sharing compelling stories and impact about chronic disease prevention research for policy and practice. Jennie will be responsible for producing content for the Centre’s newsletters, Prevention Post and The Chronicle, website, social media and other channels.

With three decades of experience in strategic communications, Jennie has built a distinguished career working with News Corp, renown global advertising agencies and, most recently, the NSW Health Agency for Clinical Innovation. Her extensive background brings a wealth of expertise to our team, enhancing our outreach and engagement efforts.
