Dr Emily He is a consultant gastroenterologist and herpetologist with extensive clinical experience. She works as a Senior Research Fellow at The Daffodil Centre. Graduating with honours from the University of NSW, she later completed her advanced gastroenterology training at Prince of Wales Hospital. After being awarded Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Emily received a prestigious National Health and Medical Research Council Postgraduate Research Scholarship and the White-Walker Cancer Research Scholarship to conduct doctoral research at the University of NSW and the University of Oxford. She has also completed a Churchill Fellowship to study emerging technologies and platforms in optimising bowel cancer screening. 

Emily’s current work at The Daffodil Centre focuses on optimising bowel cancer screening and surveillance, and on analysing patterns and determinants of health service utilisation in liver cancer.
