Dr Claire Boulange has finished working with the Prevention Centre.
Dr Boulange’s research spans the urban planning and public health disciplines, focusing on how city planning and urban analytics can support the creation of healthy liveable urban environments. Her current research focuses on developing advanced simulation tools and a Planning Support System to inform understanding of the relationship between the built environment and population health.
Skilled at using quantitative methods and conducting spatial analysis, Dr Boulange works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams of researchers, policy makers and professional planners to strengthen the consideration of health in planning policy and practice.
