Angie Wilson

Angie Wilson is the Nursing and Midwifery Project Director Women’s and Children’s Division for the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network, Flinders Medical Centre and previously Nursing and Midwifery Director for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Adelaide. Angie is a senior clinical leader with extensive management, education and clinical experience in acute and community maternity services. As a leader her role is to provide strategic, operational and corporate management and leadership to nursing and midwifery staff. Angie provides corporate management of nursing and midwifery services for Women’s and Babies with a key oversight of Safety and Quality across services including education, systems and processes, a risk framework and safety and quality plans and projects. The role is instrumental in working with the Nursing/Midwifery and Medical Divisional Directors and Level 3 Nurses/Midwives to develop and embed a learning, safety and quality culture within the service.
