These workshops aim to share how research that affects Aboriginal people and communities must be culturally appropriate, meaningful, ethical and consider the people that it affects.
This first workshop will address the topics:
- Designing a research study that is community driven
- Getting the question right; and
- Working with Aboriginal communities
Professor James Ward, The University of Queensland, will chair the workshop. Panelists include:
- Christine Corby OAM, Walgett Aboriginal Medical Service
- Professor Gail Garvey, The University of Queensland
- Jamie Newman, Orange Aboriginal Medical Service
