Following a great deal of consultation in the prevention sector, the National Preventive Health Strategy 2021-2030 was officially launched on 13 December 2021 by the Minister for Health, the Hon Greg Hunt.

The online, open webinar was hosted by the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA). Prevention Centre Co-Director Andrew Wilson also spoke at the launch acknowledging it was great to see the true complexity of the multi-layered nature of prevention recognised.
