Feeding the future: The Tasmanian school lunch project
Event Details
From humble beginnings, the School Lunch Project has evolved from a pilot project providing cooked lunches to students for 20 days in three Tasmanian schools in 2020, to providing cooked lunches 1 to 4 days per week at 30 primary and secondary government schools in 2022 to 2023.
Coinciding with the recently released School Lunch Project evaluation report from the Menzies Institute for Medical Research, University of Tasmania, the webinar will bring together members of the implementation and evaluation teams to highlight the successes, benefits, and challenges of the project. You will hear from a variety of people with different professional backgrounds in what will be a highly informative session with an opportunity to ask questions and engage in general discussion.
